Pretty Frocks and Country Living

 It's funny that these last two outfit posts are of me wearing pretty frocks in the country. My parents live out in the country in the Sierra Foothills. It's absolutely beautiful, but also kind of ironic since I'm dressed to go out on the town.

I purchased this dress and coat from Modcloth right before the holidays and am totally and love with these new items. The coat is the perfect length and is surprisingly warm. I usually am skeptical of buying clothes in yellow or green because I have olive complexion, but the Goldenrod dress has a nice warm hue to it that doesn't wash me out.

While in California, during the holidays, it was surprisingly warm. I feel like I got my daily dose of Vitamin D which we're not really used to in the Pacific Northwest.
