Some Faves this Week:

I have a lot of loves and faves this week, maybe it's just me getting into the holiday spirit, but I'm pretty darn chipper about everything!

My first two faves this week I am proud to call Portland's own. First is Lodekka, Dress Shop, a vintage clothing shop that call's it's home a 1965 Bristol "Lodekka" (double decker bus). The bus is packed full of lovely finds both for men and women.

The second is Wanderlust, Mobile Shop, a pint size vintage clothing store nestled in a 1969 Cardinal Deluxe travel trailer. In fact both the ladies that own these shops found each other and now share the same lot space, making the cutest little vintage shopping mall in North Portland. On weekends these fun ladies serve up mimosas for your shopping pleasure. I have now been twice the last two weekends and have some real lovely frocks that I am excited to share in some upcoming outfit posts. However, I'm going to have to cut myself off from going back too soon...it's dangerous.

She & Him - The Christmas Waltz by MergeRecords

I am such a sucker for the holidays, I love to decorate, I love to watch Christmas movies, and I love the music! My neighbor just got A Very She & Him Christmas on vinyl and I am so jealous. I think I might have to get myself a copy this week.



I've been on the hunt for some new tunes, and this band is totes awesome. Tennis is great and they have that surfer band sound that I love. They are coming to Portland next week and I'm going with my friend Vanessa to see them since her friend, Devon Williams, is opening. I'm so excited to see all the bands and hang out with my friends since it's been far too long.

This has been out for a couple weeks now, but I had to wait to post it since I sent the picture book to my sister for her birthday, but....Marcel the Shell is back! Will and I went to see Jenny Slate and her fiancée, Dean Fleischer-Camp, the duo behind Marcel at Powell's for their book tour. They are a really funny sweet couple, obviously.
